If you're on one of the newer World of Warcraft servers, you may have noticed a distinct inability to log on and check your leetness quotient in the past few hours. That might be because of an unexplained downtime that Blizzard is working to fix at the moment.

The following realms were affected by the unexpected downtime:

  • Area 52Taken from http://static.flickr.com/18/68679441_6d90224fb5.jpg - Image 1
  • Auchindoun
  • Azuremyst
  • Blade's Edge
  • Blood Furnace
  • Coilfang
  • Exodar
  • Shattered Halls
  • Terokkar
  • The Scryers
  • The Underbog
  • Velen
  • Zangarmarsh
As of 2:27 a.m. PST, Drysc has noted that there may be an additional two hours of downtime for the affected servers as Blizzard's engineers work on the problem. We'll try and keep you posted, but for now, you can also watch the thread we're linking to for more information.
