Healers cry for Fade tweaking - Image 1Although the Paladin and Warlock classes received their share of downgrades, the Priest class, especially focused healers, have been experiencing the worst of the nerf stick. While Maxx's plea isn't a "quit waving that big stick around me!," it is one outcry for the downtrodden healers of World of Warcraft.

The idea is after serious noose-tightening on the Priest's Prayer of Mending, there's nothing else for a healer to go by in PvP and PvE or in just plain level grinds. They can't survive without bodyguard tankers, and they can't even live long enough to heal themselves. Hell's bells? You just wish it were.

Maxx has suggested that, in order to give the class a chance against mobs and less forgiving player killers, Blizzard could add a new ability to the Fade spell. More precisely, he hopes they could make Fade, a 10-second long ability to lower the Priest's threat in aggro grinds, to turn Priests into hard-to-hit targets.

But like most issues, Blizzard "blue" rep Nethaera could only reserve the answers for tomorrow. Here's to hoping that the big buff slated for the Priest does miraculous wonders for survivability. Otherwise, not even Resurrect is powerful enough to get the class up again.
