If the previous post this QJ Blogger made isn't evident, this blogger is trying to take a look at Botting and all other devious/illegal/pseudo-legal/things-some-of-us-really-like-to-do in World of Warcraft. What else is there to do? It's an April Fools' day, and it's a Sunday. Double Whammy right there. Oh, and pardon the third-person self reference. It's an editorial policy.

The folks at Markee Dragon INC, managed to get a video interview with a professional Warcraft Botter that goes by the name Rabid Dog. Because this blogger is too lazy to type in transcripts, or even copy paste several snippets from the Markee Dragon post over at makeedragon.com, here's the video:

Gah, superior person says I'm forced to point out several things. Ok. Here's the bottom-line point of the whole thing:

Markee Dragon: Yeah that wouldn’t be very good. Why do you personally use glider and what’s your fascination with it?

Rabid Dog: I first started glider back in 2004 just a few months after it was released to the public. I virtually quit WoW, I had hand leveled 3 characters to 60 already and I was tired. I didn’t want to run any characters through those grinding levels again. I just wanted to try some other classes and I had a friend tell me about glider and that’s what sparked it. I purchased it and started participating on the forums and I’ve been an active used ever since. I’ve always, even since Ever Quest days, been about making a little money on the side because I don’t want to take money from myself or my family to play a game. So it’s nice to earn a little bit on the side to pay for the habit.

Markee Dragon: Who doesn’t? If you can pay for the habit it’s really good. I want to thank you again for coming in and showing us this bot. I wish you much success with it.

Botting's nice and all, but what this blogger is really wondering about is for how much moolah did that dude get that screen of his. Who'd want to have a bot play for you when you're playing on that?
