The Brewfest event for Blizzard's MMORPG, World of Warcraft, sports many quests and events - Image 1

If you've been keeping tabs on Blizzard's recent Brewfest event for World of Warcraft, then you know that supplying the entire population of alcohol thirsty denizens in the game with nice cold glass of brewskis is a thankless job. In particular, a lot of people are still in the dark about how the Barker Quest mechanics work.

Asides from a few bugs found in some of their quests, the keg delivery run using the racing rams seems like an impossible task according to some posters on the WoW forums. No worries, though. Drysc, a Blizzard poster, and some other forumers have posted some tips on how to successfully make the keg delivery run with more than enough time to spare running up those flags.

Basically, pushing your racing ram to a gallop the entire race will just tire it out even more. People have suggested that you should only gallop at the start, after that just alternately canter and trot and you shouldn't have any trouble with your ride getting fatigued. Also, Drysc suggested this convenient, if somewhat underhanded, tactic: "After the fourth flag you can drop the ram and just use your normal epic mount, it can help save quite a bit of time and allow you to push the ram's fatigue a bit harder."

He also announced that the keg delivery quest was NOT a daily quest. Rather, it resets every 12 hours on an invisible timer, giving players who want to run through the quest more bang for their buck to bring a kegful of inebriated happiness to the thirsty citizens of WoW.

In any case, you have your hands full if you want to keep up with the many Brewfest activities and quests the game has in store for everyone this month. So why not kick back and have a cold one compliments of Blizzard.

 » Hmm...

For horde, at least, the barker quest is damned easy. I finish easily with 30 seconds to spare.

For the keg delivery, it's quite possible to do the whole thing in gallop - as long as you take the shortest routes possible and pass by both apple baskets. Sometimes lag or slow reaction will mean you will miss one and get the slowdown - but I've found that I still earn more tickets that way.

So far gotten a pony keg and beer goggles on two characters, with 100 tickets spare on each. Once the dark iron dwarves are back, ram mount, here I come.
