It appears that today's World Wide Invitational will be inviting in some high-profile characters from the gamer crowd. Blizzard poster Wryxian announced via Europe's World of Warcraft forums that raiding guild Nihilum has been confirmed to be at the WWI.
Some of you may recall hearing of this guild a couple of months back, when they were among the first to successfully clear the Black Temple instance, defeating Illidan Stormrage in the process. This time around, Nihilum will be displaying their skills at the WWI by conducting a live raid on the Sunwell Plateau, currently considered to be the MMORPG's hardest instance (at least before Northrend appears). Expect three of the guild's players and one shoutcaster to be present later and tomorrow. On a related note, we've also picked up a schedule of Blizzard's WWI, available for viewing below. Keep on the lookout as we report on some of the bigger happenings set to take place for this event. |
