Feeling that a healing reduction debuff for Shamans has been promised but left unfulfilled by Blizzard, Solliant tried to jumpstart a petition over at the WoW forums. However, the idea was unpopular and was debunked by Blizzard bluepost Slorkuz.

According to Slorkuz, there was no promise made on the flame tongue totem request, although they tried to accommodate the flame tongue totem request by introducing it on the PTR during 2.4 testing but was removed shortly after.
