Many people are interested in knowing exactly when patch 2.3 will be implemented beyond World of Warcraft's
public test realms. With each week bringing on the possibility of
another patch day, it seems as if people are now content to grasp at
straws when it comes to knowing when the patch will be implemented.
Needless to say, one of those attempts to prove patch 2.3 was summarily
shot down by Blizzard Poster Bornakk, proving that this week isn't the
week for 2.3.
As we mentioned earlier, Putridiot of Ysondre posted this "proof-ish" bit of information on the World of Warcraft forums:
After further discussion about the change in patch 2.3 which adds diminishing returns to silencing effects, we've decided to revert the change. Though we do feel that being chain school locked is a problem and plan to address it at some point in the future, we weren't comfortable with the amount of testing this particular change received. [emphasis his] Forumgoers were skeptical about this bit of "proof" and were summarily rewarded with a prompt response from GM Bornakk, declaring the proof as "completely false... because it isn't tomorrow."
With the number of issues still currently undergoing maintenance, it's understandable that they'd be taking their time to get everything perfect. Hopefully, players will be less inclined to ask this question every week though, because that'd be just silly.
