Gear dependancy - Image 1Blizzard poster Crezax responds to the popular sentiment among the Warrior community that the class is in need of a fix to increase its power level. Crezax posts in the WoW EU forums:

The devs would agree that the Warrior has some performance issues in PvP. They are keeping this in mind for future adjustments. However, they also want to see more of the warrior population level and gear up to hit end-game, where various weapons and items are going to change the average performance of warriors.

Things like having the PvP trinkets on a 2 minute cooldown rather than previously as a 5 minute cooldown is something they'd like to see more players get their hands on. While a lot of warriors are concerned with early/mid-game leveling and see imbalances there, the warrior's gear dependancy factors into this a fair amount.

We do understand that the Warrior class is arms dependant by design. However, popular sentiment here is that perhaps it should be toned down a bit, especially since some folks spend every other level upgrading their gear.

Some folks point out that it's fine that warriors are imbalanced in PVP, because they claim that warriors still have a fair advantage over other classes when it comes to PVE.

Well, for now it seems, all this talk about the state of the Warrior class is moot. As Crezax's post points out, Blizzard has its reasons for keeping things that way, and until they change their minds, the players will have to adapt.
