 A lot more than for aesthetic purposes, in-game items for World of Warcraft serve a very important function. Let's take for example the case of armors. These, when used by players, boost specific features and traits of their characters. The added points are known as set bonuses.
For months now, WoW players have been clamoring Blizzard for a fix about set bonuses not being applied properly. We don't have to reiterate how this problem can bring the game down the drain.
To finally resolve the issue. WoW Europe's Vanera started a thread at the game's official forum site and is asking players for more information about the matter. His post reads:
Hi everyone! There have been a number of reports of set bonuses that are not being applied correctly. We understand this bug, but because there are so many possible combinations of items we need more information before we can fix them all. We are currently in the process of investigating which armor sets are affected by this issue.
So, instead of fretting to your friend about this issue, who most probably doesn't have a solution as well, we suggest for you to go to the site and help Blizzard out. As of now, the bugs concerning the following sets have already been isolated:
- Black Dragonscale
- Defiler's Plate
- Defiler's Leather
- Cenarion Rainment + Eye of the Beast
- Devilsaur Armor
- Field Marshal/Warlord's Vestment + Netherweave
