Blizzard World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1Some players have been asking if the free character transfers in Blizzard's World of Warcraft have a cooldown of three months much like the paid transfers.

For those unfamiliar with this concept, cooldown is the amount of time players have to wait before they can transfer to a different realm.

Blizzard Community Manager Bornakk addressed the community about this issue, saying that there is indeed a cooldown for the free transfers. However, the cooldown is separate from the one in the Paid Character Transfer feature.

This means that gamers who wish to change their realms can actually do so twice. Once with the free transfer, and a second time with the paid service. This is actually pretty good for players who still aren't sure about changing servers.

They can try out the area and if they don't like it, they can just pay to be transferred back.
