A lot of people have been complaining about the announced addition of guards outside of the Zul'Aman zones in World of Warcraft. Considering Zul'Aman is located within Horde territory, getting flagged in the area spells death for any Alliance players if the guards were placed there.

Nethaera explained that while they are adding guards outside of the instance, they will be doing something that they've never done before: designating the area as contested. This action makes the area just as dangerous for Horde players who would dare to start a fight.

Hopefully these new changes will help balance out the PvP battles in the area. Players who fear that it will unbalance the current areas can take comfort that Nethaera herself said that they'll keep a close watch on the changes to ensure that nothing unfortunate happens.
