It looks like Blizzard has been busy handing down the law to players involved in win trading on World of Warcraft's Arena. Apart from giving the Arena rules a bit of a tweak to cut down on violators, WoW Insider reports that the company has also been handing out bans. The reported banhammering incidents have ranged from suspensions of as long as 72 hours to outright permanent bans. People who bought points from win-traded teams have also been affected by the crackdown, with some getting banned as well. While a lot of players have applauded Blizzard's decision, quite a few have also been critical of what they see as extreme actions. |
