Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1Community Manager Bornakk has given word that they plan on adding Anub'arak in World of Warcraft when Wrath of the Lich King goes live. While he declined to give any specifics, he did point out that they want to have him as a primary character outside of raiding.

If you're not too familiar with the lore of the game, here's a short background on Anub'arak. He is the king of Nerubians, an ancient subterranean race which was exterminated by Ner'zhul the Lich King when he tried to take control of Northrend. Anub'arak was reanimated by the Lich King and now serves in his armies as one of his most trusted generals.

We're pretty sure that many players who love the lore of the game are anxiously waiting to see what role Anub'arak will be playing in the game. Will he be relegated as a raid boss or one of the major players in the battle for Azeroth?
