Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1

Players who find their personal space just a little too cramped on the Crushridge, Grim Batol, Outland, and Stormscale realms will be happy to know that Blizzard has opened its Free Character Migration service to help disperse the population among the different servers.

The free character transfer service will be active from January 30 to February 5th and will include moving characters from the Crushridge, Grim Batol, Outland, and Stormscale servers to the Burning Steppes, Jaedenar, and Vek'nilash servers. This announcement was made by Blizzard poster Thundgot on the World of Warcraft forums.

However, Thundgot also notes that should the destination realm's population rise too high the migration may be closed from that time on for that particular server. So any players who want to move shop will have to file for their migration as soon as possible.

Interested players can also take a look at the Character Move FAQ on the official WoW website for more information.
