Blizzard's World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade - Illidan - Image 1

Another round of character transfers will be made available to World of Warcraft players. According to the announcement made by Blizzard poster Drysc on the WoW Forums, this run of free character moves will start December 21 and end December 28 (12:01 PM PST).

Check out this round's source group and destination realm:
  • Source Group
    • Arthas
    • Warsong
    • Mal'Ganis
    • Illidan
  • Destination Realm
    • Azshara
The usual rules apply: once the realms reach the goal population, character transfers will be disabled. Drysc added how they chose which realms to open transfers for, perhaps to preempt the usual questions from players:

The realms chosen consist of source realms with the highest sustained queues, and destination realms with the lowest population. The numbers gathered are directly from our data, and depict the realms in most need of these transfers. We will be continuing to monitor all realms and open additional free transfers in the future where necessary.
