The developers over at Blizzard are working really hard in tweaking the different disciplines for the classes in anticipation of the launch of World of Warcraft second expansion Wrath of the Lich King. The players, furthermore, seem very excited and keep on pressing community managers for details.
Blue poster Eyonix dropped by the official WoW Forums and revealed that he recently took an extensive review of what Blizzard has in store for discipline in Wrath of the Lich King. Then he provided these thoughts:
The current iteration of the tree literally blew my mind. I was in the class designers office in under a minute discussing the changes like I was a nine year old child who was given a sneak peak of an entire set of unreleased Garbage Pail Kids cards.
I can't say much but I will say this:
The tree will stand on its own two feet.
It will be viable in PvE.
You will notice impact from player feedback.
While not really revealing anything, what Eyonix said was a promise that we believe each and every World of Warcraft player will hold dear in their hearts. We hope Eyonix is giving us a real picture (or a preview if you will) of the expansion and not just hyping things up.
