Looking for Group - Image 1A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that Blizzard is actually working on various updates regarding World of Warcraft's LFG (Looking For Group) system. Fans speculated that it could be about the re-appearance of the LFG Channel. However, Blizzard's Nethaera categorically stated back in October that the channel is gone for good.

In a rather unexpected turn, Drysc is now saying that the channel will actually be back in the next major content patch. Well, it should be, because players have been complaining about the new LFG system. A part of Drysc's post reads:

The change we can talk about right now is indeed the return of the looking for group channel in the next major content patch. With it comes a rather significant requirement, and that is that you will have to be in the LFG system set to looking for a group or looking for more to see and use the channel. The global LFG channel will only be viewable and available for use to players while they are in the LFG system.

He added that there are still a lot of improvements coming, but he can't discuss them as of yet. Lastly, Drysc mentioned that the goal here is to see the combination of the LFG tool with the ease of use of a global channel.
