Okay, so you're the casual type of gamer that could do without packing on "purpz", tuning to that perfect player versus player build, and considering your Arena or Honor ranking as your new ego booster. But just in case there are those who are still unfamiliar with the finer lines of online competitive matches and its mechanics, Blizzard has released a new PvP Information Hub just for those World of Warcraft players.
The portal on the official World of Warcraft site comes complete with primers for maps, their rewards, and how each PvP instance would play out generally, though there are links to other portals that dive into their respective PvP matches in better depth. Links to the respective ranking systems - Honor for Battlegrounds and Arena for Arena tournaments - are also available, and it also comes with a primer that ties down their differences.
As a reward to more hardcore World of Warcraft gamers with epic equipment and weapons, both the Arena and Battlegrounds systems will allow competitive combat. There are probably more changes to come as more content get added in the near future or as new rewards and Arena seasons come to light.
Follow the Read link to get to the new PvP information portal.
