Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King MMORPG - Image 1What comes to mind when you hear the term Paladin gear? The most common reaction is a heroic-looking armor and huge warhammers.

Certain players have complained that the Paladins in World of Warcraft don't seem to have that kind of effect so they ask, "Will we be seeing these kinds of gear in future expansions such as Wrath of the Lich King"?

Blizzard Community Manager Nethaera addressed these members of the community and said that the weapons and items in WotLK will be designed to fit within the expansion. Then she discussed the design of the items further:

Beyond that, I couldn't guarantee a trend toward "good" items so much as say that items serve the purpose they are given whether it is good or evil. Not every hero carries a gleaming sword that shines like the sun.

For now, we'll have to wait and see what the artists have cooked up when the time comes.

Perhaps to appease members of the community who play on the RP servers, Blizzard might consider revamping the appearance of some weapons to give it a more heroic look.
