Blizzard to WoW players: Don't worry about the next expansion - Image 1If you've been lurking around the official community sites for World of Warcraft, then you've probably heard some talks about the next expansion to the highly successful MMO video game. Even Blizzard's own forum moderators mention them from time to time, referring to it whenever asked by players regarding future changes.

So, are we having another expansion any time soon? According to blue poster Nethaera, Blizzard hasn't announced what the expansion will be as of yet nor has it even given a particular time frame of when it expect to release it.

The forum moderator added that the most anyone has as of now is that one is likely to come every year. Nethaera then cautioned players to not let the expansions dictate their playing style or rate because that will definitely take away the fun off of playing World of Warcraft.

The blue poster gave a hypothetical scenario: in the event that a new expansion is released and you are not yet through with The Burning Crusade's Karahzan, are you going to sacrifice your comfort just to keep at pace with the hardcore players?

She reasoned, "If you and your guildmates and friends aren't through Karahzan yet, then you certainly don't have to do anything more than concentrate on that aspect of the game until you are through. How fast or slow you get through content is completely up to the choices you make".
