Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1There has been some confusion on the use of Hunter's Mark (and its improved version) in World of Warcraft. Thankfully, Blizzard QA Hortus took some time to clarify certain issues regarding this ability.

First off, Hortus discussed what happens once a hunter reapplies Hunter's Mark or its improved version on a character. He said that "once improved hunter's mark is on a target any Hunter's Mark (improved or not) will refresh the duration of the existing mark (not overwrite it)."

The second clarification he made are on the effects of the second application of the Mark. He said that the buff doesn't change in any way aside from lengthening the duration. This means that the ranged attack bonuses will not stack or increase if multiple Hunter's Marks are applied to a single target.

It's nice to see that these things were clarified by Hortus as quite a number of players were asking these questions on the forums. Perhaps this new information will help out some gamers who are still confused about effects of multiple applications of Hunter's Mark.
