FiftyGood news for you WoW-addicted folks. Blizzard has recently announced that they will be giving players a 24-hour time extension on all active accounts to make up for the downtime experienced caused by this week's major content patch

Yeah, some would say, "It was just fifty cents who cares?" However, monetary value really isn't the point here. The point is that Blizzard is willing to admit that there was an error, and they are trying to correct the error in a manner that would actually cost them money (for a change).

Moreover, they've got what? 7 million subscribers? At $0.50, It's an almost worthless gain for us, but for Blizzard that's around $3.5 million. They are in essence willing to lose a day's worth of revenue just to ensure that their user base is satisfied.

So, is this "kind gesture" from Blizzard enough to make you players less annoyed, or are you one of those folks that are actually pissed off because you're going to have to wait until Blizzard, at long last, balances the classes with another patch?

QQ more... your stupid to think Blizzard keeps much of the 7 million profits... running a business in not just one, but several countries does rank up the basic costs of working in just one.
