After giving us a look at some of the new dungeons and sceneries that will be featured in Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard has decided to give us a sneak peek at some of the creatures you're sure to encounter in the highly anticipated expansion for World of Warcraft with its new Bestiary section.

So far, the new section on the WotLK page of the website features only two creatures. However, these two speak literal volumes in what the new storyline reflects for our hopeful WoW heroes.

First up we have the half-spider, half-humanoid Nerubian Viziers. These creatures serve as the new rulers of the nerubians' underground kingdom. There's been talk of an emperor which rules over the race who may prove instrumental in overthrowing the Scourge from their icy domain.

The Plague Eruptor is one of the newest creatures to come out of the Lich King's evil devices. These walking corpses are designed to spread the Scourge's apocalyptic contagion with its presence alone. Couple this with its incredible strength and deceptive speed, and they are definitely a fearful addition to the Lich King's army.

These two are merely the tip of the iceberg, since the bestiary will feature eight more creatures in future updates to the section. Hopefully, we'll be seeing more additions to the Wrath of the Lich King very soon.
