Blizzard representative Drysc can now be thought of as one heck of a tease. In a recent World of Warcraft forum thread, we found him expounding upon the potential goodness behind Wrath of the Lich King, without actually giving out any information whatsoever.

The thread was started by Kophee of Daggerspine, who was wondering why he should keep the alchemy profession. Kophee was actually thinking of replacing alchemy with enchanting, certainly another solid choice in the profession business.

Drysc decided to chime in with his own teasing thoughts, saying,

...because you don't know what's coming for the profession in Lich King yet?

Probably not a very convincing reason at the moment. Personally I might level enchanting now before the expansion just because it's so expensive to do that you're going to still have time to make up your losses. Buuuuuuuuut... you may be kicking yourself after you see what Alchemy has going for it in the next expansion, or maybe enchanting will be more enticing for you, hard to say.

Hrm.... I would say at least wait until you know what's coming, but that's just me.

While he does manage to entice us with promises of awesomeness in the coming expansion, we certainly like his stance on the matter: have patience and find out what the expansion has to offer before changing your profession. Certainly some sage advice.

Now, if only Drysc provided actual information related to Wrath of the Lich King...
