Enchanting still requires salesmanship. - Image 1Over here at QJ, we expect that the future of enchanting in World of Warcraft will allow people to sell their enchants through the Auction House. Sure, it isn't possible now, but it's bound to happen some day, right? Well, we just got word from the French forums that it might be the case... after Blizzard releases Wrath of the Lich King, that is.

Blizzard's French Online Representative Thyvene chimed in on a thread translated as "To increase the possibilities of the enchanter," presumably discussing the myriad ways in which enchanting could be improved as a viable profession.

Of course, the discussion eventually veered into the realm of selling enchants, which led to this statement from Thyvene, which we've translated through online translators as saying, "The developers envisage to give the possibility to the enchanters of selling their enchantments with the Saleroom (auction house), however that should not be established concerned before the next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King."

Basically, it looks as if we can expect enchantments to be sold in the auction house in the future. However, there's no current date committed to such a change for the profession other than "after the expansion". That being said, it's certainly worth hoping that it comes sooner rather than later, right?
