Burning Crusade Collector's EditionIt seems that an "unforeseen production issue" will require European World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Collector’s Edition owners to take a few extra steps in order to gain access to their exclusive Netherwhelp in-game pet.

According to the WoW Vault on IGN, the issue concerns only the in-game activation of the Netherwhelp pet. All of the Collector's Edition's physical contents are not affected, including the ability to upgrade to and play the Burning Crusade expansion.

In the meantime, Blizzard asks all owners of the Collector's Edition to retain their proof of purchase and the complete contents of their Collector’s Edition box set, including the content description sheet. Blizzard also promises more details and a possible fix to be posted on the official website as soon as possible.
