Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1Blizzard Community Manager Thundgot has announced that they will be crediting certain World of Warcraft players with one day of free game time. The company is doing this because some realms went down on December 23 and 25 due to a hardware issue which caused a total of around nine to ten hours of downtime on various servers.

Players will only be entitled to this rebate if they have an active character on any of the following realms: Aerie Peak, Boulderfist, Eonar, Frostmane, Grim Batol, Jaedenar, Kazzak, Kilrogg, Outland, Ravenholdt, Stonemaul, Tarren Mill, Vek'nilash, and Wildhammer.

The various posts on the WoW forums that followed this announcement had players showing their appreciation for Blizzard's gesture. If you're one of the folks who got this rebate, go and enjoy the free day of game time!
