While it would seem like common knowledge that PvE to PvP transfers in World of Warcraft currently aren't allowed, it takes a single post to remind us that not everyone reads the transfer agreements and numerous warnings (such as above) that Blizzard gives when they make the switch from a PvP server to a PvE type.

You see, Tinkler's got a problem, and it looks to be one that can't be solved by Blizzard representatives. It seems Tinkler had a character which he leveled up to 70 on a PvP realm, and then he moved to a PvE realm to be with a friend. He wants to move back to his old PvP realm, however, and that's where the problems start.

Most of the responses to Tinker's post deal with the numerous reminders that were made by Blizzard when one transfers from a PvP to PvE realm. Still, Bornakk was gracious enough to provide a comment:

Sorry for any confusion on this. We try and provide details when you are transferring from a PvP to a PvE server that you cannot go back as we currently do not offer PvE to PvP transfers.

As for Tinkler? Well, it seems that the only way he's going to get back his previous standing on the PvP server of his choice is if he works his way up from scratch. We wish him well in that endeavor, though we wish he heeded the warnings posted by Blizzard prior to transferring to begin with.
