World of Warcraft patch 2.4 - Image 1Over the past few weeks, players have been excited about the release of Patch 2.3, talking about it constantly on the official World of Warcraft forums. The aforementioned patch has already been applied to the servers so some gamers have been asking when patch 2.4 will be released.

Community Manager Nethaera spoke about this, saying that they don't even have a date when it will be released. She said that the developers still have to work on " intermittent patches that need to be added into the game before we even get to patch 2.4."

This pretty much means that we're going to have to wait some time before the next major update of the game. This shouldn't disappoint players though since we have a lot of new "toys" to play around with in patch 2.3.
