It's amazing how certain motifs tend to recur time and time again across various media. Take the case of Beowulf, for instance. Who would've known that the Blizzard's World of Warcraft would have its own version of the movie trailer?

Credit goes to InsomniAddict ProductionS for churning out this comparative WoW machinima video. In it, InsomniAddict spliced snippets from various World of Warcraft scenarios and showed them side-by-side with the actual Beowulf movie trailer.

While even InsomniAddict ProductionS admits that it's not perfect (some of the lip syncing is off and there are a couple of missed scenes), the similarities are still striking - in an amusing sort of way. In fact, it won the second place for InsomniAddict at the machinima.com contest.
