The Outland is waiting. And so are we. All this time, everyone's been on edge. "January," says Blizzard. Delayed as the release might have been, we finally have a fixed date on when WoW: Burning Crusade is coming out. Pin your calendars, sticky-note your monitors...

...go back to your room and write a message in dry erase pen on the door:

WoW: BCWoW: BC is coming out on January 16.

This is going to be an international release, with a few areas still to be further confirmed if they would get it the same time as everyone else. Now that's been said and done, Blizzard has also announced that they've reached a new milestone of 7.5 million players online (wonder if that includes the Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny).

Up until release of the expansion, the developers are still going to be testing the game to ensure that those 7.5 million subscribers don't get disappointed. President of Blizzard Mike Morhaime says, "With this expansion, we’re looking forward to offering the same level of quality that players have experienced in World of Warcraft so far."

So get your gear ready. The fabled Dark Portal is about to open. The former homeland of the Orcs will once again be populated. There's new two races: the Blood Elves and the Draenei. The question now is: Can you wait that long?
