The above screenshot from the European Deathwing server should give you a pretty good idea of what's happening over in the World of Warcraft. In celebration of the upcoming BlizzCon event, the programmers at Blizzard decided to put up a little something special for the higher levels to enjoy: they've brought about a special instance of the Darkmoon Faire out in Shattrath City, and have also introduced the Blizzard-comprised band Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain (L70ETC) as actual NPCs who will play music in-game.
According to Drysc's forum post, L70ETC will perform a musical number at the top of every hour, so people can check their in-game clocks to see when a show will start. You'll be able to find them at approximately 36,34 on your maps, which should be just outside the southeast exit of Shattrath's Lower City.
Related to this, it was officially noted that the event would start at midnight, though it has yet to happen on all the servers. That being said, expect Blizzard to fully implement it on your server by the time this week's maintenance period ends.
