blacksmith - Image 1Primal Nether can be all the rage in WoW if they make some adjustments with it. It's pretty much one of the most useful crafting materials there is, being a key ingredient in about 75 tailoring, leatherworking and blacksmithing recipes. The problem with it is that it's really hard to get by.

Every crafter wants it - that's a no-brainer. But with its slim drop rate in non-heroic modes and bind-on-pickup property, the cookie often crumbles the wrong way. A mad rush to get the drop often ensues and the people who do get it are often the people who can't use it.

Elizabeth Wachowski of WoW Insider wrote some suggestions on how everything can work better to cut the community some slack in the item-crafting biz. She says that making the Primal Nether a Bind on Equip item could help the economy get a bit more fluid. Making Primal Nether an enchanting-like item is also a possibility she explored.

"The Nethers should also have a 30 to 50 percent chance to drop off of other bosses in Heroic mode instances, so they'd still be tough to get but not as dependent on five people who all want one item making it to the end of an instance without ripping each other's throats out," she adds.

We especially like the last suggestion. If you want to read the full discussion, you can follow the read URL to the original article.
