World of Warcraft Battlegrounds - Image 1

There have been a number of fixes to the World of Warcraft Battlegrounds, Alterac Valley and players are not particularly happy with some (or most) of them. A thread in the WoW Forums stated that Blizzard only implements the "band-aid" fixes to the said battlegrounds and that AV is far from being balanced.

The recent changes in Alterac Valley (AV) include the AFK report hotfix and the increase in hit points for both Balinda Stonehearth and Vanndar Stormpike. Players from both factions, Horde and Alliance, argue that their particular faction got the short end of the stick due to the recent changes. Blizzard poster Nethaera dropped by the said thread and patiently answered players' concerns.

And there were a LOT of concerns, including the basis for changes, the HP hotfix for the two NPCs, and Alterac Valley in general. Nethaera said:

Please try to post constructive feedback on your experiences with these changes and how it is having its effect. Some changes are better done a little at a time so we can better gauge the impacts. You may call them bandage if you wish, but last I checked, bandages sometimes do a great job in keeping a wound clean and letting something heal on its own.

Check out the thread by clicking the via link below. What do you think? Is Blizzard just applying one band-aid measure after another?
