It's time to get those background downloaders up and running again. Blizzard has released a portion of the World of Warcraft 2.4 patch, which means people can pre-emptively pick up part of the patch now and avoid downloading everything once 2.4 comes around.

When will the patch come around? The date still hasn't been finalized, but previous experience has shown that it usually comes anywhere from two weeks to a month after a release of a patch portion on the background downloader.

That being said, we can all probably wait a couple more weeks for the patch to come out. Afterwards, we can all share in the goodness of a refined Sunwell Isle raid experience.
