Patch 2.4.2 update: Blacksmithing weapons no longer unique - Image 1More good news coming in folks, courtesy of Blizzard's planned changes to World of Warcraft via the upcoming patch 2.4.2.

The first bit of news will certainly make many a Blacksmith's day: The upcoming game patch will ensure all their Bind-on-Pickup weapons are no longer unique.

What this means is that you can now build more than one piece of whatever weapons you fancy. Sound good? It's about to get better, at least if you've been keeping tabs on 2.4.2's patch notes. As you guys will recall, the PTR's past notes also indicated that most of the game's Main-Hand weapons are now One-Hand weapons.

Summing that up, this means that whatever one-handed purples you've been saving up for can now be dual-wielded in either hand. Definitely big news for WoW's resident Shamans and Warriors - the two classes who stand to benefit the most from these two changes. That said, you may want to stick around in case we run into any more related updates.
