Ron Paul to gather supporters in World of Warcraft - Image 1

Azeroth's as good a place as any to show support for a presidential candidate. On New Year's Day, supporters for 2008 presidential candidate Ronald Earnest Paul will be holding a rally on the Whisperwind server of World of Warcraft.

The group plans to create a guild that will march from the IF Gates of the server at 8:30 p.m., EST time on New Year's Day. So far the forum thread planning the event on Ron Paul's website has 22 pages and the last reported number of participants stood at 117.

This would indeed be a great event for New Year, but one can't help but imagine if it would be even better if all the other presidential candidates had their own supporting guilds and the last one standing gets to have their candidate take office. Talk about your bloody elections.
