Community MVPs - posting in green - Image 1

World of Warcraft Forums member Semoravene asks why Iriel had been added to the Community MVP - or Most Valuable Poster, those forum guys who post in green - list while the MVPs for Tandaa and Piril have been excluded. Community Manager, Blizzard Poster">Tyren, responds with this:

Iriel is designated as a Community MVP since the WoW Community team is in contact with him regarding his participation in the MVP program. The CS MVPs are in touch with the CS forum team, and likewise, the Tech Support MVP is in contact with the Tech Support team.

I guess Iriel is a unique MVP since he is very knowledgeable about UI mods, but we have only the 3 different types of MVP programs going on so Community was the closest fit in this case.

Despite other poster's problems with the Blizzard's MVP program - they say it's a failure - Semoravene, seems content with Tyren's response. But what about the rest of you folks? Do you think Blizzard's MVP program is doing what it's supposed to do?
