Do you think Epic gems in Blizzard's World of Warcraft are a bit too expensive? Well, rumor has it that Epic gems will be available for 10 badges each, a significant drop from the 15 badges that the gems are listed at.

This rumor started with a change in the official armory which listed all the gems at 10 badges each. So far, Blizzard has yet to comment on whether or not this was an intended change or a bug.

If this change is intended, then this is great news for players as it makes improving socketed gear much easier. That said, we'll be keeping a look out for any official announcements regarding this.
