World of Warcraft Arena Season 2 - Image 1

Get your gear ready and your mana set, because the Arena season 2 is getting ready to go. The second season of Blizzard's arena competitions have been given a tentative arrival date, according to a post recently made by Drysc on the World of Warcraft forums.

According to the news, the second Arena season will begin on June 12, 2007, coinciding with a small patch. This is still tentative, however, as the date of the second season will be changed according to when the patch is ready.

Once the second season hits, expect some additional changes. For one thing, all arena team ratings will be reset to 1500, allowing everyone to fairly compete for the top spot. More importantly, you'll still keep your arena teams and points, with the top 20% of the arena-going public earning their well-deserved arena-specific rewards, such as special armor and the Armored Nether Drake mount.

You can read the full notes of Drysc, as well as the clarifications on arena rewards, at the read link below. Enjoy!
