A thread over at the Elitist Jerks Guild Forums started by Gogusrl informs that recently, the latest Arena gold-generating scheme involves a rogue and shaman from their guild that are "selling 2-3 1900-2000 2 man arena teams for 500g each peaking at 800g for a 2100 rating arena team."

Basically you pay, then you get invited to the team, and you can run your ten games for some quick 500 to 600 points.

Some folks of course say that they believe that activities like this are far from cheating and isn't really different from other gold-earning schemes considered legal in the past. However, you really can't tell how Blizzard themselves will see this scheme, and maybe they'll see it as beneficial to World of Warcraft.

We sincerely hope that they'll be a bit hands off with this. It is after all, just arena slots.
