So let's say that you are one of the lucky people to pick up a copy of Burning Crusade come January 16. Now that you have it, what would you do with it? Play it, of course! Going over the WoW Insider site, we found some things you have to take note of once you've got in your hands that expansion.
First, don't delete the WoW 2.0.0 to 2.0.3 patch. It seems that BC needs it to install. This is what Nethaera had to say about that:
As the Burning Crusade expansion was finished prior to the most current patch versions it will be necessary to re-patch to 2.0.3 once the expansion is installed. As some players remove their patches after they have been applied we would like to provide a helpful warning not to delete the "2.0.0-to-2.0.3" patch file as it will be required after the Burning Crusade is installed.
After that reminder, you will of course need a physical copy of the expansion discs to install. A CD key would also be needed so as you could upgrade your existing accounts to BC accounts. The key will upgrade the account itself.
Now, Vaneras mentioned that the Circle of Healing "is still going to be looked at. We don't know when however, nor do we know exactly what, if anything, will be done with it. It is, however, something under consideration for further adjustments. Pain Suppression isn't anything that is planned to be changed in any way at this point in time."
Although this tidbit is nothing major, it is still important to take note of them reminders. Better safe than sorry, right? We will hook you up with more BC-related tidbits as January 16 comes our way.
