Quit - Image 1It has been almost a year since the World of Warcraft community team announced their Guild Relations Program which aims to strengthen player interaction within guilds. Anyhow, going over at the WoW forums, we found a Guild relations forum thread talking about the worst and the lamest excuses for people to quit guilds. Here are some of the most interesting ones we found:

  • I think the best one was the guy who made this really long post on our forums about how his grades sucked and his girlfriend needed attention and his parents thought he played too much Wow so he was selling his account. He loved us all, blah blah blah. Then a few weeks later, he's standing in IF, and I'm like wow he's back. But the GM said, nope he sold his account. He was in a new guild, so i went and checked out that guild's forum for his app. The app has specific information on it that if he had really sold his account, the new owner would not have known.
  • My Grandmother is going to die soon, and I want to see the endgame before she does.
  • Well guys i'm outa here i just can't stand that owl pet by or this one...Well if i'm not aloud to us curse words all the time i'm out your just a bunch of ##@@$#@#$@#@#$
That's just some of the lame excuses that forum posters are sharing. It seems that the "joining-a-friend's-guild" excuse is the most hackneyed of them all. So, what's the worst excuse for leaving a guild have you heard?
