World of Warcraft - Image 1Here's an update for those wondering why the Public Test Realm for World of Warcraft is down. Apparently, there's a very good reason for this: PTR testing on patch 2.2.3 has finally been completed.

This was revealed on the official WoW forums by Blizzard poster Tigerclaw. The PTR will be brought back up once the next patch has passed internal testing and is available for public beta testing.

Speaking of the next WoW patch, Tigerclaw also revealed that the next patch will not be 2.2.4 but 2.3.0. Feedback from those who tested 2.2.3 could still lead to a patch 2.2.4, however.
