Still remember the World of Warcraft Xfire Summer Movie Contest? The Short Feature category? One of the vids that we didn't include - because it wasn't available on vid-sharing - was "The Anti-Elf Anthem." It's the ode of a Tauren to his dislike of Elves, complete with a litany of elvish vices (slight body frames, lack of body hair) and a barbershop quartet.

Well, the vid popped up on GameVideos just recently. And that's not the only thing: besides the Xfire context, apparently it's also been short-listed as a finalist in the 2006 Machinima Festival for Best Original Music (which explains why it was featured in GameVideos as well).

We only wonder why this Tauren can't show the Elves some love? (Probably because of the entire desecrate-the-Night-Elves-sacred-forest thing in Warcraft III). Enough yapping - on to the singing!
