World of Warcraft - Sunwell Plateau's Kalec and Kalecgos - Image 1For those testing out the upcoming World of Warcraft patch 2.4, here's an announcement from Blizzard poster Tigole (a.k.a. Jeffrey Kaplan). The Sunwell raid will be disabled temporarily until the next the Public Test Realm patch goes live.

A hotfix was applied to disable the raid zone for now. The poster didn't give a reason for the said hotfix, though he did say that the testing for patch 2.4 "has been excellent." Tigole also noted the progress on the zone's bosses:

Kalecgos is close enough that we can finish off testing him internally at this point. Brutallus will get a minor change next patch (stomp removes burn). We'll do brief testing on him next patch and then disable him. Felmyst and the Eredar Twins both get major changes next patch. The oh-so-compelling, non-boss mobs also get a good deal of tuning in the next patch.

There you have it folks. Just a quick head's up for those of you trolling the World of Warcraft's PTR. Stay tuned for more news about the upcoming patch and more developments.
