"What will I wear?" is usually a girl's morning dilemma, but now it has gotten into the World of Warcraft as well. With the emergence of tier sets 4 and 5 in the Burning Crusade, the question has been the subject of debate.
With the exception of Hunter, Mage, Rogue, and Warlock sets, the characters are in a fickle pinch with what to wear. Druids for example, have the restoration, feral, and balance sets while paladins have protection, retribution, and holy sets.
Basically it's a choice between tank, damage per second (DPS), and healing sets. What would the hybrid characters choose? And do characters necessarily have to choose the armor that corresponds to their raid roles?
Okay, raid wear should pretty much be the best set you own, unless you and your guild don't plan on winning. The thing is, to be able to get a tier 4 or 5 set, players would have to earn tokens. Then they get to choose what to purchase from the vendors in Shattrah City. The question is, why are some players taking the best armor they can get for going solo? Shouldn't they be taking the sets would be perfect for their raiding roles?
Guilds can influence their members to pick a certain armor that would be advantageous in raiding but then it all boils down to what you want, really. Choose wisely, fashion sense goes a long long way.
