With the recent announcement that World of Warcraft's season 3 gear release is getting moved to next week (November 27), excitement for the new weapons and armor sets can only intensify.

Now, in case you're not exactly on a high enough rating to merit the season 3 gear, we imagine you're wondering if you can at least make bid for the lower-requisite (but still kickass) season 2 sets. Such was the question of Floyd over at the WoW forums.

Blue-texter Bornakk dropped by the forum to clarify that players won't need a ratings requirement for the season 2 gear. On a slightly off-topic note, Bornakk was also asked if come Arena Season 4 (a very long way off), would Blizzard be lifting the reqs for season 3. Bornakk promptly replied that this was a possibility, although it may be safer to just wait until Season 4 approached.
