World of Warcraft's The Armory - Image 1

We all probably know that anything in the beta testing stage is bound to be bugged, will crash at any point in time, and/or have an annoying glitch or two. The World of Warcraft's The Armory is no exception to the failings of beta. Earlier, The Armory was down for maintenance and it seems that some players were annoyed at this incident.

One of which would be Fenixdown from the WoW Forums. The player noted that The Armory doesn't work (or doesn't work properly) whenever players need it. Blizzard poster Drysc was there to address the concern:

It's been working for me every time I've tried it in recent memory, but I may not use it as much as some of you.

In any case we're performing maintenance on the site and it's expected to be down or only available off and on for a while this evening. As it's still in beta we can't guarantee uptime or scheduled/announced maintenance. It's still in testing so there may be times where there's a problem and the site isn't working, or we're in the process of working on it. There's been some recent updates so I think once it does come back up there will be some new features everyone can check out and help test.

On another note, another player started a thread complaining that Blizzard posters were rude to him after he asked that the Armory be fixed. Drysc was good enough to drop by and explained that they were "performing some maintenance which is affecting the Armory". Well, the Armory looks fine now - hope they got to fix what they meant to fix.

» Blizzard wants you! To suck it up!

Half the morons who work for Blizzard don't know what ***** they are doing... seriously, if it wasn't for a 250 page manual on how to say "Sorry, we do not know the cause of the problem but we'll forwards you to someone else who doesn't know the answer either. Your boned..." they would be up stream without a paddle.

What they need to do is hire REAL programmers who are just out of college instead of the thousands of role players who are recruited every month that just want to "help out" WoW players. Wanna help out? Shoot yourself in the foot you flaming ass munches, your giving real tech. support members a bad name!

Wanna know what I think about the forum mobs, complete and udder JERK OFFS! If it wasn't for their friends in real life, they wouldn't of known how to open a damn web browser!

So if you have an issue that involves WoW, don't rely on their "tech support." Just solve it yourselves.
