Following the announcement of IGN Vault's WoW IGN Vault's collection of Burning Crusade maps, they have also begun detailing explorations into most of them. First up on the list is Zangarmarsh, a dusky, marshy forest of blue mushrooms. This patch of fungi-forests and swamps is wedged between the Blade Edge Mountains and Nagrand in the Outlands. It's separated from Hellfire Peninsula a bit by mountain ranges.
This part of the land is inhabited by many species, although sentient fungi inhabit the mysterious swamp. It's a 60-64 map, with a slightly higher difficulty in some cases. Draenei, Night Elves, Tauren, and Trolls occupy their respective faction areas of the zone.
